Simple sauted lions mane

How To Prepare Lion's Mane Mushroom Lion’s mane is incredibly easy to prepare. With a little preparation this curious looking fungi can be transformed into mouth-watering mushroom steaks with the perfect golden crust.  


Ingredients: 

  • Lion’s Mane Mushroom 
  • Olive Oil 
  • Butter (optional) 
  • Salt & Pepper 


Method: 

  1. Cut the lion’s mane mushroom into half inch thick slices. 
  2. Fry the slices of mushroom in a dry frying pan (without oil) over a medium heat for 5 minutes. 
  3. The mushroom will reduce in size as moisture evaporates and the fibres are condensed. Add some olive oil & butter and fry until golden & crisp. 
  4. Enjoy with salt, pepper and the condiments of your choice.
